ISKA - ISKO - ISSO - ISMA - ISTAN
Finally we can introduce the 5 new arrivals. 5 Pups from one litter. We were asked just before Christmas if we could help these 5 little creatures. Owner of the father and mother is away from the island for an extended period due to circumstances and the person who should now be taking care of these dogs hardly looks after them! Result, a litter of 7 puppies . The puppies were full of worms, fleas and some ticks. Poor feeding and they were hardly looked after. The first treatment after taking them away from their "owner" was to fight the internal and external parasites. Also immediately put on a high-quality food and about 2 weeks later they got their first vaccinations and their microchip.
We are now some time further on and the little ones are doing very well! The smallest ISKO was taken into care immediately because of his low weight and a small accident with his eye, which is now completely better.
The puppies are lively and playful, but still a bit reserved towards people, but every day this is getting better and they are already coming closer with curiosity. They have also gained quite a bit of weight and now weigh between 3.5 and 7 kilos and are almost 3.5 months old (estimated date of birth 26.09.2023).
These dogs will become medium to large once mature ( between 10 and 20 kilos for sure)
ISKA - with her beautifully drawn eyes , looks most like her mum, is still the shyest of the group. Iska now weighs 5 kilos.
ISKO - the smallest male of the group was quite malnourished and had probably suffered a bump on one of his eyes. Isko has fortunately recovered completely, does his needs on a puppy training pad and has now become a happy and unconcerned pup. Isko came with a weight of 2.3 kg and now already weighs 3.2 kg.
ISSO - also a male and is the biggest in the group. He is a lot calmer than the others, often watches everything from a distance and is clearly the boss of the group. Isso came in weighing 6.1 kg and now weighs 7 kg.
ISMA - is the smallest female and all beige in colour. Out of fear she snapped immediately with her little razor-sharp teeth, but by now this little lady has calmed down, loves to play and we can lift her with ease. She weighed 3.1 kg when she arrived and now weighs 4 kg.
ISTAN - also a female and is beautiful with her black skin and white spot on her chest. She too has become a lot more trusting with us now and is sweet in character. She weighed 4.2 kilos when she came and now she weighs 5 kilos.
